What kind of thread is good for machine sewing Coolaroo fabric?l have a

basic sewing machine and the fabric seems lightweight enough.My first

Use regular cotton or polyester thread. Heavy duty thread is  
Flatch
for hand sewing, not for a sewing machine. Use a denim needle.

No nylon thread for children and pet items it can choke if put

in the mouth.. You can use a 40 weight cotton thread. Thread the bobbin

If the nylon thread is monofilament, I wouldn't use it. it is  
snicker doodle
nasty stuff to work with. Both threads you mention will sunrot badly from

UV, so I would not use either for outdoor projects, though the poly/cotton

may work if ur machine will accept it. Remember, you need to match needle
