Can I hand dye my white cotton dress with dylon fabric dye? (machine dye?)?
It does not specify on the packet whether its ok to hand dye it as opposed
to dying it in the washing machine? plus l want a lighter shade than on
the packet so l need more control over the amount of time l dye it for?

i don't see why it wouldn't be ok to hand dye it,but remember
the stitching most likely wont be cotton so it wont take any dye.
i have hand dyed with this stuff, i did it in a bucket outside
because it is soo messy
just do it for the time you think, and use a ''fixer'' on it afterwards
